Larry Roberts Obituary

Larry "Duke" Randall Roberts, age 83 of Huntland, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital. He worked in the maintenance department at Zanini. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Mae (Shockley) Roberts; brothers, George, Cliff, Howard, and Clayton Roberts; and sisters, Pauline Crowder and Joyce Masters. Survivors include daughter, Kelly Turi; two step sons, Clay and Joey (Teresa) Roberts all of Huntland; step daughter, Deanna (Tracy) Driver of Chapin, SC; half-brother, Larry Isbell of Huntland; grandchildren, Brandy and Anthony Stephens; step grandchildren; Colton (Kelsi) Roberts, Dillon (Hope) Roberts; and Brett (Chelsea) Driver; step-great grandchildren, Skylar, Ella, Olivia, Piper and Violet Roberts and Caitlyn, Brayden, and Adelyn Driver; along with numerous other relatives. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 5:00-8:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 11:00am from the chapel with Pastors, Bruck Shockley and John Gifford officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Joey, Clay, Colton and Dillon Roberts; Brett Driver and Larry Isbell all serving as pallbearers; and Tracy Driver and Anthony Stephens as honorary pallbearers.
