Laura Beth Bacon Rose, age 61, went to be with the Lord on August 15, 2025, at her home in Knoxville, Tennessee.

She was born on August 7, 1964, in Knoxville, TN, to James Bacon and May Ina Bolen.

Laura graduated from Karns High School before moving on to Berea College for her undergraduate studies, where she earned a place on the Dean's List. In 1988, she received her Bachelor of Science degree from Ashland University, where she was honored with the Outstanding Reading Educator Scholarship. Additionally, Laura completed her Master's degree in Education at Tennessee Tech University in 1994.

She dedicated over 35 years to the education system, shaping the lives of countless young people. Throughout her distinguished career, Laura served as an educator at Wartburg Central Elementary School, Christian Family Cooperative, Grace Christian Academy, Concord Christian School, Holston Middle School, and River's Edge Christian Academy.

Laura was passionate about teaching and cherished time with her family and friends. A devoted, long-time member of West Park Baptist Church, she encouraged others to follow Jesus and played an active role in her church community. Laura faithfully served in the children's ministry, prayer ministry, and mission trip ministry.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, James A Bacon and May Ina Bacon; Sister-in-law, Linda Page Bacon; Niece, Page Bacon; Nephew, Chad Hardeman; Brother-in-law, Dan Gibbs; Uncle, Jim Brown; and Special Friend, Mallory Hardeman.

She is survived by her Daughter, Erika Rose; Son, Robert Alexander Rose; Grandchildren, Kamilla Rose Graham and Zyaire Rose; Brother, Larry Bacon; Sister, Anita Hardeman; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to West Park Baptist Church. They are especially grateful for those who have reached out with love and support throughout this time.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Click Funeral Home- Middlebrook Chapel at 9020 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN 37923.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Laura and I were friends growing up we both went to the same school. She will really be missed she was a good friend my name was Allen back when we were in school. I will be praying for her family.
