Lauretta Jean (Swanson) Drescher, 92, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Arlington Place Health Campus in Indianapolis. Cremation rites have been accorded. No services will be held.
Lauretta was born March 2, 1932, in Geneseo, Illinois to Herbert and Cordice (Armstrong) Swanson. Lauretta married Clarence Drescher on May 6, 1951, in Geneseo, IL and were married until his passing on May 21, 2019. Lauretta was a dedicated homemaker, mother, and wife. Together Clarence and Lauretta managed Cambridge Community Lanes for several years.
Lauretta is survived by her daughters, Denise Adkison of Washington, Iowa, Regina Page of Indianapolis; sister, Linda Six; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert, and Cordice and four brothers.
