Lillie Lewis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home - McAlester on Apr. 16, 2024.
Lillie Ann Lewis, known affectionately as Ann to her friends and family, passed away on April 13, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Born on October 24, 1950, in Savanna, Oklahoma, Ann was a beacon of love and kindness throughout her 73 years of life.
Viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the Chaney Harkins Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Chaney Harkins Funeral Home with Pastor Brent Crandell officiating. The burial will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Brian Keith Lewis, Jeremy Albert Lewis, Larry Kevin Lewis, Joshua Lewis, Daniel Matthews, and David Johnson.
Ann was the cherished daughter of Samuel Lee Johnson and Lillie Mae (Edwards) Johnson. Her life was a testament to the power of love, as she found the love of her life in Larry Keith Lewis, whom she lovingly referred to as "Lulu Frog." Larry, in turn, called her his "Honey Bunny," a term of endearment that spoke volumes of their deep connection.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Lewis; children: Shelley Dawn Lewis, Brian Keith Lewis, Traci Denise Elliott, Jeremy Albert Lewis, and Larry Kevin Lewis; son-in-law, David Elliott; and daughter-in-law: Sarah Mallory. Ann's love extended to her grandchildren-Joshua, Justin, Anthony, Dillon, Jon, Annika, Daniel, Julie, Brooke, Megan, Malea, Marc, Makaela Ann, Nova-Lee, Mathias, and Ericka-and her great-grandchildren-Hailey, Austin, Grayson, Lillie, Addisyn, and Liam. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
She is also survived by her devoted sister, Marjorie Wolf, and a host of beloved nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Lillie Johnson; her daughter, Jodi Renee Lewis; and her brothers, Ronald, Samuel "Wayne," and James "Jimmy" Johnson.
Ann's life was marked by her unwavering love for her family and her profound appreciation for the beauty of God's creation. She had a way of making everyone around her feel loved and valued, and her kindness was a gift that she freely gave to all who knew her.
We take comfort in knowing that Ann is now at peace, reunited with her beloved family members who have gone before her. Her life was a blessing to us all, and her memory will be cherished forever. Ann's love story with Larry, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family is a testament to the enduring power of love-a love that transcends time and space.
