Linda Lou Adams, born on August 4, 1944, in Worthville, Carroll County, Kentucky, passed away at her home in Sanders, Carroll County, Kentucky, on January 28, 2026. She was surrounded by her loving daughters, Lori Lynn Bennett and Kimberly Sue Adams and sister, Beverly Sue Miles, who were by her side during her final moments.
Linda dedicated a significant portion of her life to her career as a Quality Inspector at Dorman Products, from which she retired on July 28, 2021. She was known for her meticulous attention to detail and her unwavering commitment to excellence in her work.
A faithful member of The Pentecostals of Carrollton, Linda was deeply involved in her community and found strength and solace in her faith. Her devotion extended not only to her church but also to her family, whom she loved dearly. She had a passion for vegetable gardening and cooking, often sharing her culinary creations with those around her. Linda's love for animals was also a cherished aspect of her life, reflecting her compassionate and nurturing spirit. Linda was very fond of Diet Pepsi and always had a stockpile.
Linda is survived by her two beloved daughters, Lori Lynn (Rusty) Bennett of Sanders, Kentucky, and Kimberly Sue Adams of Sanders, Kentucky. She is also remembered by her sister, Beverly Sue Miles of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and her grandchildren: Nathaniel (Jamie) Bennett of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Natalie (Jacob) Profitt of Middletown, Ohio; Lorinda Bennett of Sanders, Kentucky; Bryan (Kayla) Wallace of Ghent, Kentucky; and Ainsley (Travis) Spenneberg of Ghent, Kentucky. Linda took great joy in the lives of her great-grandchildren, Charlotte Bennett, Harper Bennett, Clark Profitt, Waylon Spenneberg, and Owen Spenneberg.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Aubrey Tharp; her mother, Lutie Florence Tharp; her loving husband of 63 years, Robert Allen Adams; and her granddaughter, Lorin Kayla Bennett.
Visitation services will be held at Relevant Church, located at 2505 Highland Avenue, Carrollton, Kentucky, on February 1, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on February 2, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service will follow on February 2, 2026, at 5:00 PM, also at Relevant Church.
Linda Lou Adams will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of kindness, faith, and love will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
