LINDA DIANE HANNAH AUSTIN, age 72, of Cowan, Tenn., departed this life on Friday, March 28, 2025, at STRHS Winchester. She was born in Winchester, Tenn., to the late Kenneth Lee Hannah, Sr. and Frances Claire Short Hannah on July 31, 1952. Mrs. Austin was a Christian. She was a homemaker that made her family her life. When she was younger she enjoyed sewing and making baby quilts, they were her favorite things to make. She liked working crossword puzzles with her family and watching her hummingbirds that came to visit. Most of all she especially LOVED watching The Golden Girls on T.V. with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her "fiesty" personality and the selfless love she had for her family and her encouragement to "Live your Life."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Russell Austin. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Randy Austin of Cowan, son, Greg Austin of Cowan, Danny Austin and wife, Emily Austin of Winchester. Grandchildren: Leah Austin of Decherd, Breely Austin and husband, Edward Wallace of Cowan, Taylor and Lucy Austin of Winchester. Brothers: Kenneth Hannah and wife, Shelia of Cowan, Steve Hannah and wife, Misty of Estill Springs and Sister, Pam Wilkerson of Winchester.
Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 1, 2025, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services, with Bro. Tray Norwood, officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. Tuesday prior to services at 1:00 P.M.
Interment will follow in the Cowan Montgomery Cemetery.
