Linda Marie Bock

 Linda Bock, 75, of Wharton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 22nd 2024, at Wharton nursing center. She was born on July 1st 1949 in Wharton Tx. to the late John and Bernice Buenger Malek.

Linda was raised in the Wharton High School. She married Ernest Bock in Wharton on May 25th 1968. He preceded her in death after 52 years of marriage on June 17th 2020. Linda loved to fish, especially at what she called the ‘sandbox.’ She also enjoyed a good party and quiet country life. In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Malek, brother Ronald Malek and niece Linda Suzanne Malek.

 Linda is survived by her son, Allan Bock and wife Melanie of Van Vleck, grandson, John Allan Bock and wife, Bailey of Magnet, Granddaughter Shelby Petrash and husband, Sterling of Wharton, great grandchildren, Adaline Bock and Wade Bock, brothers, Michael Malek and wife, Connie of Wharton, brother, Donald Malek and wife, Lelia of El Campo and former daughter-in-law, Kelli Bannert and husband, Kevin.

 Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 10 with a visitation at 9am at the Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Melton officiating.
