David is survived by his fiancé, Nancy Servano; children, Dawson David Platt, and Bridgette Platt; siblings, Larry Platt, Jennie (David) Rivera, Christina Cotton, Renee Chavez, and Regina Chavez; his mother, Denise Platt; and a large loving extended family.
David is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Jo Martinez.
David took a chance at life in March of 2015 when he decided to head to the Philippines to meet the love of his life for the 1st time. In August 2016 they had their Son Dawson. David's little family was the light of his life and he fought hard to get back to them! We will miss David terribly!
A Celebration of life will be held at a later time and will be disclosed to family only, at this time.
