Linda Kuhlman Draney, 78, of Southlake, TX, passed away on September 5, 2025 surrounded by loving family.

Linda was born November 12, 1946 in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of Charles & Mildred (Gangloff) Kuhlman.

Linda graduated from Colerain High School in 1965, then went on to University of Cincinnati, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Retail Management.

Linda married Timothy Draney on August 28, 1976 at her parents’ home in Cincinnati, OH. Tim & Linda just celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary.

Together through thick and thin, Linda moved across the country with Tim and their children. With stops in Cincinnati, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, and New Jersey, she finally landed in Southlake, TX in 2001. Wherever life took the Draney Family, Linda was faithfully involved in the local church, sharing her gifts and her heart with so many. Linda was a founding member of Abiding Grace Lutheran Church. She loved Abiding Grace deeply, and leaves a lasting legacy of faith and friendship among the congregation.

Linda worked as a teacher at Westmont Montessori school in NJ, and Little Ones at Living Word preschool in Grapevine, TX. She loved working with children.

Linda loved her family deeply. She especially loved trips to the beach with family, and all activities involving her children and grandchildren. She especially loved watching her four granddaughters dance; attending many competitions & dance recitals. She never missed a Dragon Football game…watching the halftime show every Friday night during football season to see her granddaughters Grace & Eleanor perform with the Southlake Carroll Emerald Belles drill team, and her grandson Ethan march with the Dragon band. She loved trips to Birmingham to spend time with her granddaughters Caroline & Elizabeth, and every trip to Texas they made during the holidays, spending special time together. Linda loved their condo in Santa Rosa Beach, FL where she got to spend time with the entire family creating memories that will last a lifetime for everyone.

Remaining to cherish Linda’s memory are spouse, Tim Draney; children, Brooke Draney Brownfield (husband Tom), Adam Draney (wife Lindsay); grandchildren, Grace Brownfield, Ethan Brownfield, Eleanor Brownfield Caroline Draney, Elizabeth Draney; brothers, Greg Kuhlman (Hallye), Gary Kuhlman (Martha), Glenn Kuhlman (Cathy); and numerous nieces and nephews.
