Linda Hartmann Obituary

Linda Lou Hartmann, 77, of Manchester passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County. Linda's family and friends will gather Friday, October 11, 2024 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Einder Funeral Homes - Manchester Chapel. A private interment of ashes will be held at a later date.
She was born on March 16, 1947, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Emerson and Alice (Wetherbee) Wiedmeyer. Linda married the late James Hartmann, on October 16, 1982. They had 17 wonderful years together before his passing in 2000. She will be remembered for her devotion to her daughter, Heather and her grandchildren. Linda loved to be around horses and go horseback riding. She suffered for many years with COPD which limited her activity. Linda became a very private person that kept to herself. She enjoyed her regular lunch dates with special classmates over the years. Linda also enjoyed watching the local sport games on television with her beloved fur companion, Fancy. She had many friends and neighbors that checked on her often. Linda will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; daughter, Heather Feldkamp and brother, Larry Wiedmeyer. She is survived by her children, Robert (Lisa) Hartmann, son-in-law, Steve Feldkamp and Cheryl (Dorin) Smith; a sister-in-law, Kathy Wiedmeyer; several grandchildren, Zach (Kadie) Hartmann, Zoe Hartmann, Jessica and Bradley Feldkamp and Cody Smith; 2 great grandchildren Blakely and Judah Hartmann.
