Linda Sue Lay (nee Hayes), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the age of 74. Loving wife of Bradford Lay; beloved daughter of the late Carl and Ethel Hayes; devoted mother of Shannon (Sean Yakel) Lay, Joshua (Lisa) Lay; cherished grandmother of Tyler Lay, Bodie Lay, Devynn Yakel, and Utah Lay; dear sister of Thomas Hayes.
For nearly 53 years, Linda and Bradford cherished a deeply loving marriage. Linda adored her husband with all her heart. She found joy in crafting with her grandchildren, radiating warmth, thoughtfulness, and forgiveness in every interaction. Gift-giving was her delight, always thinking about others. She found solace in ceramics and the camaraderie of strangers. Linda's passions spanned from collecting to computer crafts and crocheting. Linda was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Linda's name to Marine Toys for Tots.
