Linda Mitchell Obituary

Linda Williams Mitchell, 84 of Salisbury, MD, died on October 4, 2024 at Bay Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Salisbury. Linda was born January 30, 1940 in Drexel Hill, PA, she was the daughter of the late Russell L. Williams and Alice Staley Williams.
Linda retired in 2009 from Coastal Hospice as a Data Entry Operator for 19 years. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Salisbury and loved antiques, knitting, reading, gardening, crafts, and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Martin Thomas Mitchell; two step-children, David Kyle Mitchell (Cynthia) of Laurel, DE and Karla Ann Morgan (Thomas) of Selbyville, DE; two step-grandchildren, Jacob Thomas Mitchell and Andrew James Mitchell, both of Laurel, DE; two sisters, Betsy Williams Illick (Monty) of Gettysburg, PA and Sarah Irene Williams Milligan (Wayne) of Green Street, PA; several nieces and nephews; and Shelia Lankford, Princess Anne, MD. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Andrew DeLaney.
At Linda's request, there will be no formal memorial services. Contributions in her memory may be made to Christ United Methodist Church - Youth Group, 211 Phillip Morris Drive, Salisbury, MD 21804.
