Linda Pellegrino Obituary

AMESBURY – Linda M. (Smerdon) Pellegrino, 71, formerly of Haverhill passed away on October 10, 2025 at a Health and Rehabilitation Center in Amesbury.

Linda was born in Lawrence; she was the daughter of Ronald and Marie Smerdon and was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Class of 1972. She worked as a clerk for the Community Action Council in Lawrence helping clients with fuel assistance and was a resident of the YWCA in Haverhill for six years where she kept everyone on their toes. She was very generous, funny and outgoing; and you always knew where you stood with her by her always cracking jokes or giving you a hard time. Linda was never quiet, vocalizing for herself and others to always give the best outcomes to the worst situations. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who cherished time with her family, especially in the later years with her YWCA family that kept her stong.

Linda is survived by her son Anthony R. Smerdon of Manchester, NH, her daughter Michelle Toto and her husband William of Leesburg, FL; and her brothers Stephen Smerdon, and Michael Smerdon and his wife Sue. She also leaves behind one grandson William Toto, Jr.
