Lisa Michelle Linkous, age 39 of Rogersville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 20, 2024. Lisa was born on December 16, 1984, in Kingsport, TN to Raymond and Linda Linkous. Lisa graduated from Volunteer High School, and she was a member of My Father's House Church in Surgoinsville.
Lisa loved her children. She was a loving and caring mother, and her life revolved around her children. Lisa was a devout member of My Father's House Church, and she enjoyed volunteering for church events. When the church doors were open, Lisa was there, ready to worship her Lord and Savior.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Linkous; and one son, Bently Linkous. Those left to cherish her memory and testimony are her two sons, Isaac Linkous, and Noah Linkous; one daughter, Adella Linkous; her mother, Linda Linkous; sister, Melanie Morelock and husband Jordan; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, church family, and friends.
The family would like to give a special "Thank You" to the nursing staff at Select Specialty Hospital in Bristol, TN.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Carter-Trent Funeral Home Church Hill. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Kevin Stewart and Ed Barnette officiating. A graveside will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 11:00 am at My Father's House Church Cemetery. Lisa's family and friends will be serving as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 am.
