Danny Harris Obituary

Danny "KILLER" Eugene Harris Born on 10-10-1956, Passed away on 10-28-2024 A "Simple Man" raised in Ocean Springs, his love for family, friends, job and his Kansas City Chiefs were all obvious with every and any conversation he had. Danny worked with the City of Ocean Springs in Public Works for a combined total of 17 years. He loved his job and with it, it brought him friendships that he cherished deeply, he loved his job. He would then be the first to tell you of his other love the "Kansas City Chiefs". He lived for football season to roll back around every year, and you could see the excitement on his face when it did. "That is my boy", speaking of Patrick Mahomes as he was firing up his grill, like he did every weekend with an ice-cold BlueGill in his hand, speaking about it it is all in "Time and Temperature, Cuz" as he is getting his coals ready.
As a Boy Scout himself he never forgot to remind family and friends the Boy Scout 12 pts of Scout Law: Trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, reverent." Leaders must have and live by a set of values.
Danny is preceded in death by his mother Betty Harris. Survived by his Siblings & their families: Sisters: Patricia DeVenney & Tanya McKay, her spouse James McKay Brothers: Bryant Boothe & Andrew Harris, his partner Ashley Lewis Nieces: Shaska Crabtree, Brittany Dio, Krista Dio, Noella Harris Nephews: Cameron James, Chase McKay, James C McKay Great-Nieces Addison Griffith, Karleigh Dio, Laiken Crabtree, Saylor Crabtree, Kendalyn McKay
