Lois C. Houchins, 88, of Cincinnati, passed away, Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Vitas Healthcare in Cincinnati. She was a legal secretary at Chase College of Law before she retired.
Lois was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Royal Oak Chapter in Royal Oak, Michigan, and was also a Kentucky Colonel. She enjoyed bowling, piano and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by parents, Clarence Perry Hicks and Ellen Virginia Hensley Hicks; and daughter, Angela Houchins.
Survivors include sons, Ivan Vincent (Yang Li) Houchins Jr. and William Perry (Janice Shoaf) Houchins; daughters, Deborah (Blair) Williams, Brenda Houchins and Pamela Crawford; and grandchildren, Dustin Hamilton, Eric Dykes, and Gavin Williams.
Visitation is Monday, February 5, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Lakeside Presbyterian Church, Lakeside Park, Kentucky. Funeral service will begin at 3:30 p.m. Monday with an Eastern Star Service beginning at 3:15 p.m. Monday at the church. Interment is Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, West Virginia.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital (donate.lovetotherescue.org).
