Lovella Gamble Howard, 83, of Salyersville, widow of Edgar Mearl Howard passed away on Tuesday October 22, 2024 at her home. She was born October 18, 1941 at Buffalo Creek in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Ray and Ivory Howard Gamble.
Survived by two son, Hearl (Debra) Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, Burl (Sandy) Howard of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, three daughters, Phyllis (Tim) Miller of Salyersville, Kentucky, Maggie (Rick) Keeton, Eure, North Carolina, June (Gary) House of Roanoke, Virginia, two brothers, Morris Gamble, Johnny Gamble both of Salyersville, Kentucky, four sisters, Pauline Bolen, Benita Gay Caudill, Rita Faye Gamble, Nettie Gamble all of Salyersville, Kentucky, twelve grandchildren, Lacey, John, Amanda, Seth, Rikki, Robert, Steven, Tori, Chase, Chauncey, Zachary, Christy, nine great grandchildren, Evander, Maia, Rhys, Lilith, Freya, Tyr, Penelope, Lucille, and Collyns.
In addition to her parents, Lovella is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Mearl Howard, two brothers, Joseph Gamble, Roy Gamble, six sisters, Shirley Hall, Emogene Gamble, Elizabeth Gamble, Viola Hunley, Mary M. Gamble, and Rosetta Risner Allen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 26, 2024 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Carroll and Garry Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in the Tackett Cemetery at Mine Fork, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Friday, October 25, 2024 from 7:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
