Loyd Benjamin Brown, 94 of Granville, Tennessee, passed from this life on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Loyd was born on Thursday, June 4, 1931, in Jackson County, Tennessee, and he was the son of the late Comer Hargis Brown and Martha Euna (Apple) Brown.
Loyd was a loving son, husband, father, Grandpa, uncle, and friend. He worked for the Chrysler Corporation in Indiana for 39 years and 7 months. He was a member of the Church of God and loved the Lord with all of his heart. He was loved by all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.
Loyd is survived by his two children, Wallace Brown and his wife, Dayna, and Wanda Forth and her husband, Randy; 8 Grandchildren, Brandon Jenkins, Amanda Jenkins, Zach Brown, Whitney Brown, Ashley Cunningham, Darcy Samples, Nick Forth, and Haley Forth; 12 Great-grandchildren; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Loyd was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Callie Rebecca (Huddleston) Brown; his Brother, Raymond Sewell Brown, and his wife, Dorothy.
Graveside service for Loyd will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery with full military honors being held by the Veterans Honor Guard.
