Madeline Bandov Obituary

Madeline Loretta Bandov a loving mother and grandmother passed away on October 10, 2024, at the age of 82. She was born in San Jose, CA to Salvador and Annie Taormino on December 10, 1941. She was an only child and grew up on her parent's farm in Los Gatos. She was a graduate of Campbell High in 1959. She married her husband Branko Bandov in 1964. They lived in San Jose before settling in Los Gatos, where together they raised two boys Bryan and Mark. They shared their love of travel with them creating memories while vacationing in Italy, Germany, Austria, Canada, Florida, Hawaii, as well as Branko's native Croatia. They both were blessed with large families who they shared holidays and special events with.
Madeline first became a grandmother in 2001, and from then on out she was devoted to helping raise her grandsons, having four in total. She was widowed in 2008. After the passing of Branko, she moved to San Jose where she resided until her recent death. Madeline will be remembered as a person who always had a smile on her face and for her generosity and kindness towards others, and as a lady who had an outfit for every occasion. She treated everyone around her like family and she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her two children Bryan and Mark and her four grandkids Mason, Brandon, Maxwell, and Lucas.
Viewing/Rosary will be held at Darling & Fischer in Los Gatos on Sunday, October 27th from 4-8pm, the rosary will be from 6-6:30pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St Frances Cabrini in San Jose on Monday, October 28th at 12pm. Followed by a graveside blessing at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, Santa Clara at 2pm. Everyone is welcome.
