Obituary of Magnus Victor Ankarlo
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Magnus Victor Ankarlo, affectionately known as Bud, on November 21, 2024. His loving wife Connie has been by his side for the last (and best) 40 years of his life.
He lived a life of service, making sure there was always food on the table for his family, serving in the Army National Guard and then working his way up to City Manager for the City of Duluth Public Works. Bud was always willing to help others, made sure his garden was big enough to feed everyone and shared anything he had with anyone in need. He enjoyed hunting at the family shack, early morning fishing trips, and road trips across the country. Driving up to a crossroad, he would ask which way? And then the adventure would begin.
Bud leaves behind many loving family members and friends. No service is planned at this time. In lieu of flowers please take time to watch chickadee antics, play cribbage or have that cup of coffee with someone you love.
