Marabel McKay Obituary

Marabel Jeanean "Jeannie" McKay age 76 of Kingston, TN, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024. Jeannie graduated Fort Hill High School in 1966 and attending Allegany Community College. She was a member of the Allegany County Western Dance Club. She was a member of Fairview Ave. Church and attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Cumberland, MD and Salem Baptist Church in Ten Mile, TN.
Jannie operated her children's day care center for 40+ years with many "happy memories." Jeannie loved to camp, travel, and spend winters at her second home in Inverness, Florida for the last 20 years. The real joy of her last five years was the time she spent with her grandchild and great grandchildren. Five years ago, Jeannie and Larry moved from Bowman's Addition to Kingston, TN to spend more time with their family. Their next big move will be to heaven to spend eternity with our Savior.
Preceded in death by sister Patty Hubbard of Alabama. Son-In-law Dave Greise of TN. Sister-in-law Cindy Nies of MD.

Grandson – D.L. Greise (wife Hannah) of Oak Ridge, TN and two great grandchildren, David and Madison Greise.
Sister – Florence Elieen Poehl (husband Gary) of Lola, Texas
Brother – Allen "Buzz" Nies of Cumberland, MD
Brother-in-law – Gerry McKay of Hagerstown, MD
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to Salem Baptist's food basket ministries (1212 Salem Valley Road Ten Mile, TN 37880). A celebration of life will be held in Florida in the near future. Fraker Funeral Home of Kingston in charge of all the arrangements.
