D'Amore, affectionately known as Maggie to her loved ones, a beacon of courage and love who left an indelible mark on the lives of those she touched. Born on September 24, 1977, in Worcester, MA, Margarita's journey was one of spirited joy and unwavering commitment to her family. She departed from this world on September 25, 2024, in Boxford, MA, after a valiant battle with an illness, just one day after her 47th birthday.
Margarita's early life was spent in Auburn, MA with her loving family. She was the cherished daughter of Evangelos and Stamatina Bougiouris and the supportive sister to Antonios Bougiouris. Her formative years were characterized by her many friendships and playful spirit. Margarita graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Worcester, where she laid the foundations of her future successes. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, a testament to her dedication and drive.
Professionally, Margarita excelled as an accountant, bringing precision and passion to her roles in various companies. However, her true calling came with motherhood. When she welcomed her beloved sons, Massimo and Evan, into the world, Margarita transitioned from her career to focus on raising her children and nurturing her family. Her husband, Paul D'Amore, stood by her side as a partner and confidant, sharing in the joys and challenges of their life together.
Margarita's interests were as diverse as they were profound. She had an eye for fashion and interior design, often bringing beauty and elegance into the spaces and lives around her. Those who knew her recall the days she indulged in pampering herself, moments of self-care that reflected her belief in the importance of wellbeing.
Her generosity was legendary; Margarita's fierce loyalty to her family and friends was a source of comfort and strength to many. She was the heart of her family, and the bonds she forged were unbreakable. Her spirit was infectious, and her courage in the face of adversity inspired everyone she met.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Margarita describe her as courageous and loving. Her smile could light up a room, and her presence was a source of warmth and security. She faced life's challenges head-on, never wavering in her resolve to make the most of every moment.
As we remember Margarita, let us not dwell on the loss but rather celebrate the legacy of love and determination she leaves behind. Her memory will continue to guide and uplift us, a testament to a life well-lived and a woman well-loved.
