Marge Baukema Obituary

Marge Baukema (Betten), age 83, of Hudsonville, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Marge enjoyed music and was a church organist for many years She also taught piano lessons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Richard, Sr. and her son, Richard Jr. Marge will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sandy Baukema, Pat and Jon Burgess, Julie Landacre, Jeff and Ina Baukema; grandchildren, Sara and Justin, Katie, Rich, Sam; great grandchildren, Nora and Hendrik; sister, Phyl; brother, Cal and Roxanne; and sister-in-law, Bonnie. A special thanks to the staff at the Laurels of Hudsonville and Corewell Hospice for their loving care of Marge the past few months. The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, October 7 at Messiah Christian Reformed Church, 2900 Springdale Dr., Hudsonville, MI 49426 from 10 - 11 am with the memorial service beginning at 11 am. Rev. Nate Meldrim will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolence Fund at Messiah Christian Reformed Church.
