Margo Elaine McGuire, 73, of Lawton, passed away peacefully on Thursday September 19, 2024, at Blueberry Hill Assisted Living in Lawton.
She was born September 20, 1950, in Paw Paw, Michigan, the daughter of Lynn McGuire and Maude (White) McGuire.
Margo graduated from Paw Paw High School with the Class of 1968. After many dedicated years of hard work, she earned her Bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University in 2001. Margo loved to travel, indulge in a good book and put together puzzles, which she was very talented at. Most of all, Margo loved cats and time spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her two sister-in-laws, Kathleen (Henry DeHaan) McGuire and Pauline McGuire; sister, Beverly (Jerry) Lettich, many nieces and nephews and lifelong friend, Jennifer Watson.
Margo was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Raymond, Donald, Robert, James, Randell and Roger McGuire and sisters, Donna Black and Linda Thatcher.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Almena United Methodist Church, 27503 County Road 375, Paw Paw. A memorial service will commence at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Len Schoenherr officiating. Margo will be placed to rest at Wildey Cemetery, Paw Paw.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Almena United Methodist Church or to Centrica Care Navigators.
