Margo "Daisy" Walsh, 71, of Tobyhanna passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on September 11, 2024.
Born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, she was the daughter of the late Vida Kreacic and beloved wife of Robert Walsh. Margo will be lovingly remembered by her sons Ian and his wife Sarah along with Brendan and his wife Melissa. Margo was also adored by and known as "Daisy" by her 6 grandchildren; Ella June, Noah, Eli, Evelyn "Evie", Henry and Jordan "JJ". She will be remembered lovingly by her extended family of 3 sister in laws, 3 brother in laws and 9 nieces and nephews. Lastly, she will be missed by her fur friend, Rudy.
Margo became an active member of the Pocono Farms CC family over 30 years ago, where she spent her summers lounging at the community pool and preparing "Margo's Pasta Salad" for every swim meet. She was an avid bowler, competing in multiple leagues and loved extended car rides through Northeastern PA and being a spectator in golf carts at PFCC, referring to them as "Riding with my hubby". She also made it known to anyone with a pulse that "I have my hubby by 5 years" and was a "New Year's Day Baby". Ian and Brendan's friends often speak lovingly of her famous "Mom Hugs" which could only be outdone by her brilliant smile. All who were fortunate enough to meet her will surely miss her
A Memorial Visitation will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday 28, 2024 in Most Holy Trinity Parish, 236 PA-390, Cresco, PA 18326 followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 am at the same location.
