Maria Colon Obituary

Maria A. Colon "Titi Tony", 83 of Bloomfield, NJ passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving Nieces Sybil & Destiny, Nephews Robert, Rahem, Jayden and fury friends Teddy & Lucy on October 26, 2024. Maria is survived by her older brother Hector Colon and many nieces and nephews whose lives she impacted and changed forever. She was predeceased by the love of her life Herma Silverstein, parents Ramon and Rosaura Colon, sister Carmen M. Rivera, brother Willie Colon and Niece Carmen Milagros Rivera. Before retiring Maria worked as Phlebotomist for Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and Lab Corp in New York. Maria's joys and passions were scratch offs, music, collecting Mickey & Minnie items and spending time with her family. Maria was an extraordinary Partner, Sister, Aunt and friend. In loving memory of a life well-lived. She will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, October 30, 11:00 AM, West New Hempstead Reformed Church, 220 Brick Church Rd, Spring Valley, NY 1097followed by Interment at Reformed Church of West New Hempstead Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to Herma.
