Marilyn Cunningham Wade was born April 25, 1960, to Odie Bell Cunningham in Eldorado, Arkansas. Zack Modest raised her as a child. She was educated in Eldorado Schools and graduated in 1978. After graduation, she enlisted in the United States Army and served for a short period of time. She married James Clark in Minden, LA, for a period of 25 years until his death. After moving to Eldorado, she later married Casey Wade for a brief period and then divorced. She later met a very special friendship with someone who loved her dearly until her death. She succumbed on October 9, 2025, at home with her family at her bedside.
Preceding her in death are her parents, four sisters: Betty Ellis, Adalee Ellis, and Lula People, and Ouella Washington; five brothers: Willie (Sonny) Cunningham, Otis Cunningham, Donnell Cunningham, Lonnie Cunningham, and Isaiah Burns.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two siblings, Rev. Robert Cunningham, and her sister Christina Chalk of Big Sandy, TX; Her God-daughters, whom she loved very much: Delilah Talley. Grandchildren: K.D. Talley, Cha’Niya Talley, Za’Bella Richmond, and Derrodrick Harris.
And a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members, and a very special family friend, Rod Richmond
