Marion Koscielny, a devoted son, brother, and uncle, passed away on September 24th, 2024, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on September 5th, 1941, in the same city, Marion lived a life characterized by hard work and dedication.
He had a fulfilling career working in maintenance for the state of Arkansas at Camp Robinson, where he exemplified a strong work ethic and commitment to his responsibilities. Marion's Catholic faith played a role in his life.
A man who appreciated the beauty of the outdoors, Marion enjoyed being outside whenever he could. He found joy in catfish lunches, relishing the flavors of the region he loved so dearly. A passionate supporter of the Arkansas Razorbacks, he embraced every opportunity to cheer for his favorite team, embodying the spirit of his home state.
Marion's family remembers him fondly. He is survived by his sisters, Diane Shaffer (Richard) and Alma Fowler (David), and his niece, Donna Fowler. He was predeceased by his parents, Pete and Anna Koscielny.
A visitation will be held in his honor at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas, on October 1, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM, followed by a rosary from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass will commence at the same location from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, as family and friends gather to celebrate and remember Marion's remarkable life.
