Marjorie Carol Eastridge, 92 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Center Point Medical Center in Independence, MO.

 

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South St., Lexington, MO, 64067. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Machpelah Cemetery in Lexington. Memorials are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project. Memories of Marjorie and condolences for her family may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com or on our Facebook Page. 

 

Marjorie was born on May 13, 1932, in Columbia, MO to Merle Franklin Hamilton and Edith Mae (Wilcox) Hamilton-Black and stepfather, David A. Black. On March 3, 1947, Marjorie was united in marriage to Charles Bonn Eastridge in Leavenworth, KS. He preceded her in death on June 12, 2003. Marjorie was a homemaker, taking care of her family and her home. She was a member Life Point Church (Assembly of God) in Odessa, MO. Marjorie was very active in helping with church activities. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Marjorie enjoyed painting, quilting, gardening, fishing, shopping and going to garage sales. 

 

Survivors include six children, Dianna Holden of Blue Springs, MO, Charlene Waddell of Lexington, MO, Carol Kendrick of Spring Hill, KS, Charles Eastridge, Jr. of Independence, MO, Jonna (John) Vance of Blue Springs, MO, and Julie Homicki of Lexington, MO; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren; one brother, Bobby Don “Donnie” Hamilton of Odessa, MO; one sister-in-law, Debbie Black of Yuma, AZ; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. 

 

In addition to her parents and husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by a son, Duane Eastridge; two brothers, David Earl Black and Buddy Merle Hamilton; and two sisters-in-laws, Beverly Hamilton and Patsy Hamilton.
