She was born July 26, 1931 to parents Hughey and Ollie Wilkerson on their dairy farm now known as the yellow house behind Rogersville Middle School.
Marg grew up on the dairy farm with her parents, three sisters and two brothers. Her being the youngest she learned about milking, tending fields and driving tractors.
She attended Palmetto school then attended Rogersville High School where she met the love of her life Carl Galloway. They lived a happy and loving life for 70 years before his passing in 2019.
Marg had many interests from driving to crafting, shopping, traveling, and learning new hobbies. She was also a Sweet Adaline for many years. Besides the love of her family, she also loved her church and looked forward to every time she attended.
She is survived by three daughters, Judy Geraci and her husband Charles, Janet Wade and her husband Dan, and Peggy McThompson and her husband Terry; a son, Kendall Galloway and his wife Kristy; eight grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Friday, August 23, 2024 with a memorial service following at 12:00 pm at J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home, Rogersville.
In lieu of flowers, a remembrance in her name is requested for Fair Haven Children's Home, 3132 N Fairhaven Loop, Strafford, MO 65757.
