Kristine Carol Quinlan May 16, 1952 – September 18, 2025

Kristine Carol Quinlan passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, at the age of 73. She was born on May 16, 1952, in Palisade, Nebraska, and lived a life marked by quiet strength, compassion, and deep love for her family and community.

As a child, Kristi spent her summers in Yellowstone National Park, where her father served as a Park Ranger — a place that sparked her lifelong love of nature and the outdoors. During the school year, she lived in Leadville, Colorado, where she spent every free moment skiing. A talented athlete, she trained and competed as a member of the Vail Ski Team.

Kristi went on to earn a degree in Respiratory Therapy and dedicated over 40 years to providing selfless, compassionate care to others. Her work touched countless lives, and she was known for her calming presence, deep empathy, and unwavering commitment to those in need.

Outside of work, Kristi found joy in the simple things — she was an avid gardener who loved tending to her plants and flowers, and she cherished the time spent playing cards and sharing laughter with her close circle of friends.

She loved to travel and spent time exploring cultures and landscapes across the globe, from China and Japan to South America and Europe, embracing the richness of the world with open arms

She is survived by her son, Sean Quinlan (44), and his wife, Cynthia Quinlan (45); her daughter, Larissa Quinlan (42); and her beloved grandchildren: Ashlynn Quinlan (26), Danielle Quinlan (24), Reece Spudich (22), William Quinlan (22), and Brayden Quinlan (15) Great Grand Child Zuriah Ramos (20 months). She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose strength, kindness, and sense of humor were the foundation of her family.

Kristine was preceded in death by her father, Donald Yestness; her mother, Zada “Jane” Yestness; and her brother, Steven Yestness.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
