Marlon A. Mendoza Mejía, de 34 años, de
Haines City, FL, falleció el 5 de septiembre a las 5:34 am de este año 2024 su madre estuvo a su lado hasta su último suspiro como se lo prometió. Marlon nació el 3 de Julio de 1990 en Miami, FL, hijo de Reinaldo y Juana (Mejía) Mendoza. Asistía a la Iglesia Católica Santa Ana en Haines City FL donde fue bautizado, trabajó por algún tiempo en A.T.Radiology, se desempeñó por algunos años como vendedor en la compañía Toyota, luego fundó su propia empresa llamada Sell A Phone en la ciudad de Orlando, donde trabajó durante 5 años.
En su tiempo libre, a Marlon le gustaba ir de pesca con su padre, ver football americano football Soccer y ver todo tipo de películas, salir a comer y preparar BB-Q en su casa y disfrutar con su familia. Adoraba a sus hijos y valoraba enormemente la unidad familiar, participando activamente en eventos familiares y salidas con amigos. Marlon fue el hijo menor, quien a los 18 años emprendió su propia vida con gran independencia procreando a su hija mayor Alize Mendoza
Marlon tenía un profundo apego por el país de sus padres Nicaragua y después de 10 años de ausencia, cumplió su sueño de regresar a esta tierra que tanto anhelaba. Durante su visita a Nicaragua, conoció las playas de San Juan del Sur exploró diversos lugares, probó la comida local, pasó tiempo en casa de su madre y siempre agradeció a sus padres por cumplirle este último deseo.
A pesar de ser diagnosticado con un tumor cerebral en año 2018, Marlon continuó viviendo plenamente, luchando tenazmente sin rendirse hasta el último instante es nuestro gran guerrero.
Durante su batalla, Marlon recibió el apoyo incondicional de parte de sus padres, contó con la compañía de su prometida Kimberly Williams, gran apoyo de su hermano mayor y sus demas hermanos; En sus últimos días Carlos J Mendoza le asistió como enfermero y hermano quien dedicó toda su atención mientras estaba bajo los cuidados de las enfermeras de hospicio Vitas-Care.
A Marlon le sobreviven sus padre, Reinaldo A. Mendoza; su madre, Juana Mendoza, sus hijos, Alize (15), Marlon Jr. (5), y Gianna (2); sus hermanos, Harold, Elvin, Jarvin, Hersan, Heiner y Carlos; su tío, Francisco Domingo; sus padrinos de bautismo, Carlos J. Mendoza y Emma Mendoza y prometida, Kimberly Williams.
Desde la infancia tuvo amigos incondicionales que lo acompañan hasta su última morada, José Cortez, Michael Alvarez, Nate Trim, este último también socio de negocios; así como innumerables muy buenos amigos. Marlon es muy querido por sus tías, primos, primas quienes siempre le demostraron su apoyo incondicional. Marlon será recordado como un hijo excepcional, respetuoso y dedicado a sus amados hijos.
La misa se llevará a cabo el jueves 12 de septiembre a las 6:00 p.m. en la Iglesia Católica Santa Ana en
Haines City, FL. Luego regresaremos a la funeraria Oak Ridge Funeral Care en
Haines City, FL para la velada de 7:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. La segunda velada será el viernes 13 de septiembre de 2024 en la funeraria a la 1:00 p.m. y luego al cementerio Forest Hill en
Haines City, FL, para darle santa sepultura.

Marlon A. Mendoza Mejía, 34, from
Haines City, FL, passed away on September 5th at 5:34 a.m. of this year, 2024. His mother was by his side until his last breath, as she had promised. Marlon was born on July 3, 1990, in Miami, FL, the son of Reinaldo and Juana (Mejía) Mendoza. He attended St. Ann's Catholic Church in
Haines City, FL, where he was baptized. He worked for a time at A.T. Radiology, spent several years as a salesman at Toyota, and later founded his own company, Sell A Phone, in Orlando, where he worked for five years.
In his free time, Marlon enjoyed going fishing with his father, watching American football and soccer, watching all kinds of movies, going out to eat, and preparing BBQs at home to enjoy with his family. He adored his children and greatly valued family unity, actively participating in family events and outings with friends. Marlon was the youngest child, who at 18, began his independent life and welcomed his first daughter, Alize Mendoza.
Marlon had a deep connection to his parents' home country of Nicaragua, and after 10 years of absence, he fulfilled his dream of returning to the land he longed for. During his visit to Nicaragua, he experienced the beaches of San Juan del Sur, explored various places, tried the local cuisine, spent time at his mother's home, and always expressed gratitude to his parents for fulfilling this last wish.
Despite being diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2018, Marlon continued to live fully, fighting tenaciously without giving up until the very end-he is our great warrior.
During his battle, Marlon received unwavering support from his parents. He was accompanied by his fiancée, Kimberly Williams, and supported greatly by his eldest brother and the rest of his siblings. In his final days, Carlos J. Mendoza assisted him as both a nurse and a brother, dedicating all his attention while Marlon was under the care of hospice nurses from Vitas-Care.
Marlon is survived by his father, Reinaldo A. Mendoza; his mother, Juana Mendoza; his children, Alize (15), Marlon Jr. (5), and Gianna (2); his brothers, Harold, Elvin, Jarvin, Hersan, Heiner, and Carlos; his uncle, Francisco Domingo; his godparents, Carlos J. Mendoza and Emma Mendoza; and his fiancée, Kimberly Williams.
From childhood, he had loyal friends who will accompany him to his final resting place, José Cortez, Michael Alvarez, and Nate Trim, the second one also a business partner, along with countless other very dear friends. Marlon was deeply loved by his aunts, cousins, and extended family, who always showed him unconditional support. Marlon will be remembered as an exceptional son, respectful and devoted to his beloved children.
The mass will be held on Thursday, September 12th, at 6:00 p.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church in
Haines City, FL. We will then return to Oak Ridge Funeral Care in
Haines City, FL, for the viewing from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The second viewing will be on Friday, September 13th, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., followed by burial at Forest Hill Cemetery in
Haines City, FL, where he will be laid to rest.
