Martha Ann Turpin, 73, passed away on October 2, 2024 in the comfort of her own home in Bellflower, California. She was born on February 23, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Clyde Morris Curtis and Frances Martha Riba Curtis.
Martha grew up in the Los Angeles area, graduating from Paramount High School in Paramount, California. She retired from Rancho Federal Credit Union in Downey, California having worked faithfully for 30 years as a Loan Officer and many different capacities.
Martha married her high school sweetheart in 1969 in Lynwood, California. They were happily married for 55 years.
Martha is survived by her son Gregory Turpin (wife Carla Turpin) of New Iberia, La.; her sisters Opal Southern and Frieda Gardner; her (3) grandchildren Nakita Sloan (husband Matthew Sloan), Dallas Turpin (wife Breanna Turpin), Avalea Turpin; and (5) great-grandchildren Franklin Sloan, Raiden Hammond, Scarlett Hammond, Harvey Turpin and Irelyn Turpin; and niece Stacey Cohen, nephew Jeffery Turpin and their spouses.
Martha is proceeded in death by her husband Terry Don Turpin, father Clyde Morris Curtis and mother Frances Martha Riba Curtis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made at PIH Health Hospice in Whittier, California.
