Marty Allen Brown, born on January 14, 1970, in Iowa City, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024, in Adair, Oklahoma. He was 54 years old.
Marty was known for his deep love for animals and his passion for the outdoors. He loved nature and being outdoors, especially when it came to hunting and fishing. Art also played a significant role in his life; he enjoyed working with leather, showcasing his creativity. Additionally, he dedicated time to the craft of braille, reflecting his commitment to helping others. He dedicated his career working as a truck driver for Anthony Bill Trucking.
He is survived by his sisters, Jena Bunch and husband Kirt of Muscatine, Iowa; Clytha Wakefield and husband Delbert of Leavenworth, Kansas; and Debra Montoya of Washington, Iowa. His surviving brother, Brad Steahr, resides in Davenport, Iowa. Marty also leaves behind cherished friends, including Chuck and Rachel Brekke, as well as Pam and Tony at Anthony Bill Trucking.
Marty is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and June Brown; three sisters, Karen, Alice, and Patty; along with his maternal and paternal grandparents. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will remember him for his kind spirit and the joy he brought to their lives.
A small service will be held at a later date.
