Marvin Reynolds Foust was born on March 10, 1951, to the late Willie Roy and Eula Mae Morgan Foust in Burlington, North Carolina. He transitioned to his heavenly home on the evening of October 17, 2024.
Marvin grew up in the Morgantown community where he spent much of his life and attended Morganton Baptist Church for number of years. He graduated from Jordan Sellars High School in 1969. He was employed in the textile industry for over 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Willie Carnell and Dennis Edward.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Eula Diane Foust Blackwell and brother-in-law, Dr. Larry L. Blackwell, both of Brown Summit, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Christine Foust, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; nephew, Ronnie Foust, nieces, Kimberly Blackwell Velazque (Hector) and Heather Blackwell; one great nephew and two great nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
