Mary Brown Obituary
Mary Jane Brown age 85 of Rogers City passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at My Michigan Health Center in Alpena.
She was born in Detroit on March 12, 1939 to Stanley and Mildred (Hocquard) Larsen.
Mary was a Merchant Marine with Bethlehem Steel for 15 years where she served as the second cook. Mary was a woman who had a tough exterior but had a heart of gold, she would do anything she could for her family and friends. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend and was best friends with her granddaughter, Lexi.
She is survived by two brothers, Glen Charles (Susan) Larsen of Michigan and Robert Larsen of Texas; one sister, Diane Larsen California; six sons, Gregory Lewis Plume of Michigan, Richard Allan Plume E5 Navy, 10 years (Lupe) of Michigan, Michael Edward Plume of Michigan, Thomas W. Plume of Colorado, (Duane) Lee Plume Lindsey (Dean) of North Carolina and Timothy Toby Brown of Michigan; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Francis Anne Larsen King and a brother, Harry Wayne Larsen.
A Private graveside service will take place at a later date.
