Mary Craft Bell Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Craft Bell passed away on June 23, 2025. She was 83 years old, born March 9, 1942, in Huntsville Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Craft Sr., mother, Margaret Craft, and cousin, Carolyn Kirkpatrick. She is survived by her daughters, Jane Bell and Dena Bell; brother, Harry G. Craft Jr. (Nell); along with her chosen family, Pat Massengale, Veronica Ryan, and the caregivers at Proveer/Kahaul Health.
She attended UNA in Florence. She worked with special needs children at East Clinton School for several years. The large part of her work life was at Teledyne Brown Engineering in Configuration Management for over 30 years with a team of exceptional individuals.
She enjoyed SEC football. She was an avid cook and gardener. She loved her fur babies, especially Polly, and the most important thing to her was her daughters.
She attended Saint Joseph's Catholic Church for over 40 years.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, with the service immediately following in the chapel. She will be laid to rest in Valhalla Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Road NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811.
