Mary D. Yost Obituary

Mary Ann D. Yost, age 79 of Moundsville, WV passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at WVU-Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
She was born in Cerro, New Mexico the daughter of the late, Patricio Martinez and Lousia DeHarra Martinez.
Mary Ann was a retired coal miner with Consolidated Coal-Shoemaker Mine and a Christian by Faith.
She loved to read and listen to her Spanish music. Enjoyed cooking and watching NCIS but most of all loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Foshe LaVaughn Yost; two brothers, Manuel and Michael Martinez; and two sisters, Lucy Grant and Delma Martinez.
Survivors include her two daughters, Edie Martinez and Reva Yost both of Moundsville; two grandchildren, Richard (Autumn) Yost and Elise Martinez-Cunningham all of Moundville; four sisters, Patsy (Junior) Cordova, Virginia (Jay) Epplen, Linda Segura, and Debbie Martinez; a brother, Dwyen Martinez; four great grandchildren, Jerimiah Yost, Colton Crane, Ava Yost and Nathan Hunter; a god son, Sammy (Nadine) Cordova, a god daughter, Mahala Finley; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 9th starting at 2pm at Nanas Landing, 23 Railroad Street, Glen Dale, WV.
