Mary Margaret Flores Ruckman, born February 26, 1963 and passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024. She is survived by her 21 yr. old son, Joseph Gregory Ruckman of Florence Kentucky known as her bundle of joy. She is also survived by her mother Virginia Banda Flores, of Carson, California, her siblings; Benny Flores (Patty), Cathy Flores, and Annette Rico (Cameron), her nephews- James, Anthony, Mark, Jean-Paul and Andrew -as well as her nieces, Mary, Jessica, Angela, Natalie and Therese. She was preceded in death by her nephew Aaron Rico and brother, Alex Flores
Margaret was the most generous person and known for her huge heart. She loved to cook and binge watch her favorite television show especially her Turkish soap operas. While she technically had one son, she was a mother to many, many more by caring and nurturing the people and the pets in her life. Any room she was in her presence was known by her infectious laughter. Her sharp wit, love of family, compassion for those less fortunate and devotion to her faith in God were legendary. Even in her final moments, she was still giving, donating her kidneys to help others.
Margaret will be forever loved and cherished by all who knew her. We were all made better because she was in this world, so although her passing brings us such sadness let's celebrate her kindness, generosity and her beautiful life in our hearts.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Holy Cross Mortuary, 5835 Slauson Avenue, Culver City, California 90230. Burial will immediately follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
