Mary Foster Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Beth Foster will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Rush Funeral Home, Hineston, with Reverend Benji Rhame officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Hineston, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mrs. Foster, 62, of Boyce, entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 2, 2023, in her residence with her loving family by her side.
Mary was a free-spirit who relied on her faith, family, and friends. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being outdoors tending to her plants. She enjoyed dancing, playing dice, and the occasional trip to the casino. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milford and Lois Meylian; two brothers, Henry Meylian and Elzie Monroe; and two sisters, Lois Monroe and Maxine Humbles.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one son, Randall Thiels (Zachary) of Gardner; two daughters, Magen Bess (Charlie) of Manning, South Carolina, and Carmen Foster (Ty Walters) of Elmer; two brothers, John Meylian and Gerald Meylian; three sisters, Terry Dunn, Naomi Smith, and Lois Rollins; twelve grandchildren; and her special friends, Mike and Regina Pitman, Doug Monk, and Betty Lou Smith.
A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Hineston, on Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 12:00 noon until time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Jesse Dunn, John Meylian, David Smith, Spencer Cooley, Sydney Walters, and Ty Walters. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Bess, Evan Cooley, Salem Walters, Zachary Thiels, Brayen Thiels, and Mason Lambert.
