Mary Ruth (Boucher) McDonald, 90, was called home on Thursday, May 9, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
"Ruthie" was born on January 4, 1934 to Earl and Agnes (Lynaugh) Boucher. She spent her life in Escanaba and was a proud North towner and Green Bay Packer fan.
She was united in marriage on November 21, 1953 to the love of her life, Daniel H. McDonald Sr. They raised four children in Ruthies childhood home and she spent the majority of her life living there.
Among survivors include her four children all of Escanaba, Daniel H. (Donna) McDonald Jr., Steven (Vicki) McDonald, Debra (Roy) Webber, and Mary Hardwick who lived with and took care of Ruthie for four years. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a great grandson due to arrive in June; nephews, Sam, Mark, Heath; and nieces, Jeannie and Heather.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Daniel "Bunny" as she fondly called him; her parents, Earl and Agnes Boucher; two sisters, Dorothy (Boucher) Stanchina and Patricia Gail (Boucher) Hanson; brother, Robert Boucher; and nephew, Warren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 14th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S. 13th St., Escanaba. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with her grandson Rev. Daniel McDonald officiating. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
