Sister Mary Roberson was peacefully called home to be with her Lord on October 13th, 2024. Born on July 4th, 1947, to Mrs. Ola Mae Roberson and the late Robert Roberson, Mary was a beacon of strength and love to all who knew her.
Baptized at an early age, her faith deepened throughout her life, and she was later re-baptized at Fellowship Baptist Church, a place she cherished and served with unwavering dedication.
Mary was an extraordinary woman, known for her selflessness and unwavering commitment to her family. Even in the face of illness, she rose above every challenge, ensuring that her loved ones were cared for. Her strength, though quiet, was a guiding force for her family, and she carried her burdens with grace, never letting her struggles become those of others.
Preceding her in death were her beloved children, Reginald Robinson and Patricia Robinson; her father, Robert Roberson; four brothers, Charlie Brown, Robert Roberson, Willie Roberson, and Isaiah Robinson; and three sisters, Geneva Roberson Ellison, Jannie Owens, and Sara Pinkston.
She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted mother, Ola Mae Roberson; her children, Lasana Roberson and Eric Robinson; daughter-in-law Deborah Robinson; her brother, James Brown; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a plethora of extended family members and dear friends.
Mary's honest words, radiant laughter, and spirit of joy will be felt in the hearts of her community for years to come.
As we remember Mary, let us hold onto the comforting words of John 14:1:
"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me."
