Rickey Myers Obituary

Rickey Gene Myers, beloved father, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the age of 63. Born November 2, 1961, in Lansing, Michigan, to Gene and Betty Myers, Rickey remained a lifelong resident of the city he loved.

A proud graduate of Holt High School, Rickey found joy in gardening and the great outdoors, and especially enjoyed hunting trips with family in his younger years. Rickey was a devoted fan of NASCAR and the Detroit Lions, never missing a game or a race. Rock and roll was his enduring soundtrack-favorites like ACDC, Led Zeppelin, and Metallica were always close by.

Rickey Gene Myers is survived by his brother Danny Myers; daughters Amy Milbourn, Samantha (Alexander) Pulice, Danielle (Jacob) Myers Willinger; grandkids Kaden Milbourn, Savannah Milbourn, Eliana Milbourn, Mariah Garcia, Giana Garcia, Arianah Garcia, Levi Pulice, Susannah Pulice, and Jude Willinger. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Susen Myers.

In accordance with his wishes, no formal services will be held. Donations in Rickey's honor may be made to Senior Community Care of Michigan PACE through Volunteers of America. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life in their own way-by enjoying the outdoors, cranking up some classic rock, watching the next race, or cheering on the Lions.
