Heath Morrow Obituary

George Burgan Morrow III "Heath", 45, of Fairview, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
Heath was born on May 9, 1980, in Henderson County, NC, and he was a 1998 graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School. He started working at an early age with his father as a carpenter with Morrow Construction. Through the years, he became a Master Carpenter and was recently employed with Lytle Construction. Heath was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed arrowhead hunting, camping and fishing. He loved to garden, having a green thumb growing flowers and plants. Heath was a man of strong faith and family values, being a member of Chestnut Hill Baptist Church. He also enjoyed woodworking, history, old westerns, tie dye t-shirts, and listening to Pink Floyd. Heath was easy going and laid back and known to many as a "gentle giant" who loved his girls and family dearly. Even though his time on earth was short, he made a huge impact on the lives around him, and he will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his father, George B. Morrow Jr.; and brother, George Daniel Morrow.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Tonia Brooks Morrow; daughters, Aliyah Madison Morrow and Ava Brooks Morrow; mother, JoAnna Morrow; sister, Nichole Morrow-Galbraith (Mike); father and mother-in-law, Larry and Lorrene Brooks; sister-in-law, Sonia Dickerson (Tim); nieces, Hannah Galbraith and Megan Morrow; nephews, Ian and Noah Dickerson; and countless friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Harwood Home for Funerals. A celebration of life service will immediately follow at 7:00pm at the funeral home with Pastors Ronnie Harris and Andrew Parker officiating.
