Mary Margaret Whatley, 100 years of age, born February 10, 1924, to parents, Sophia and Carlos Babcock, passed away to her heavenly home October 19, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
Mary married Henry Whatley in September of 1949. She helped with the war effort for WWII. Her favorite pastimes were watching westerns on TV and spending time with family.
Mary is survived by sons, Wayne Williamson and his wife, Linda, and Dennis Williamson and his wife, Laura; a daughter, Anita Conley and husband, Todd; grandchildren, Mark Williamson and wife, Shari, Jeffrey Williamson and wife, Teresa, Kristopher Whatley and wife, Tori, Nathan Woodard and wife Savanah, Thressa Williamson Allison and husband, Richard, Tara Williamson Jackson, and Amanda Black; great-grandchildren, Amanda Karch, Britany Hull and her husband, Darin, Lindsey Jackson, Nate Charli, Jackson Allen and husband, Jacob, Rebecca Whatley, Margaret Whatley, Amelia Whatley, Braxton Woodard, and Olive Woodard; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Mary in preceded in death by both of her husbands, Howard Williamson and Henry Whatley; her parents, Carlos and Sophia Babcock; two brothers, James and George; and two sons, James Williamson, who passed as an infant, and David Whatley.
A graveside service will be held at Clear Creek Cemetery, Saturday, November 2, 2024, as well as a private memorial service.
