Mayra Rojas Obituary

Mayra Rojas, age 41, of Amherst, Texas, died Sunday, November 3, 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born December 10, 1982 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Roberto Mendoza Morales and Irma Irigoyen Trillo. She married Luis Alberto Rojas Carilllo in Carlsbad, New Mexico on February 14, 2019.
Mayra loved to watch movies and documentaries. She also enjoyed listening to Camilo Sesto. Mayra always put everyone first, before herself, and would lift the spirits up of all she knew. She was very proud of her two kids and her two grandkids. Mayra loved to read her bible, while having a cup of coffee. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, and she loved sushi and Sonic burgers. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Muleshoe.
Mayra is survived by her husband, Luis; her son, Alarick Hernandez of Amherst, Texas; her daughter, Naylea Hernandez of Amherst, Texas; her father, Roberto Mendoza Morales; her mother, Irma Trillo and her husband, Arnoldo; her grandmother, Porfiria Irigoyen; a brother, Angel Roberto Mendoza of Chihuahua, Mexico; and her two grandchildren, Nalani Hernandez and Xaiden Hernandez.
