Mazell Hutson Obituary

CHURCH HILL - Mazell Ward Hutson age 80, of Church Hill, TN passed away on Tuesday, September 03, 2024, with her loving family by her side. Mazell was born on January 03, 1944, in Washington County Tennessee. Mazell loved to spend her time in the garden. She enjoyed canning food, loved flowers and quilting, she also loved spending time with her family. Mazell is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Theora Simpson Ward; husband, Edward G. Hutson; sister, Mary Kate Arnold (Ralph) and infant twin sisters; brothers, Kyle Ward (Dolly), Archie Ward (Jean); Elmer Ward, and Johnny Ward; daughter in laws, Susan Marie Hutson and Teresa Sumner Hutson. She is survived by her loving daughters, Teresa Williams and Louise Hutson; sons, Donald Hutson, Lynn Hutson (Nancy), and Dennis Hutson; special friend, Greg (Buzzard) Barton; grandchildren, Christopher Smith (Megan), Kimberly Williams (Dalton), Kaitlyn Jarrett (Jonathan), Christina Cox, Michael Cox (Carrie), Britta Hardin (Josh), Kayla Hutson (Daniel), Justin Hutson (Taylor), Tra Bolt (Jessie), and Marcus Salyer; 22 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, special great great nieces and nephew, Leigh Collins, Kyra, and Jaxon Gibson. A visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 on Friday, September 06, 2024, at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with pastor Troy Daily and Gary Cavin officiating. A graveside service will follow the funeral service in the procession to McPheeters Bend Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Donald (Duck) Hutson, Lynn Hutson, Dennis Hutson, Christopher Smith, Justin Hutson, Michael Cox, Jonathan Jarrett, and Dalton Horton. Honorary pallbearers will be William Arnold, Jaxton (JC) Williams, and Aiden Cox.
