Melissa Edwards Obituary

Melissa Ann Edwards, age 50, of Burnsville, passed away on Monday, February 17th, 2025 at her home. A native of Clay County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of Gary and Sheila Collins Marion. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, as well as her mother-in-law, Angie V. Edwards.
Melissa was known for her great personality and being such a kind, fun-loving person. She enjoyed hiking, camping, fishing, and especially loafering and going to the beach. Her life centered around her family and she held them close to her heart until her last breath.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Mickey Steven Edwards and her son, Jeremiah Edwards, both of Burnsville; her adopted daughter, Crystal Hopper of Kentucky; father-in-law, Melvin Edwards of Burnsville; two sisters: Michelle Underwood and Monica Milford (Daniel) of Alabama; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
