Melody Ammons Obituary
She was a kind, compassionate and understanding woman. Family oriented and a cornerstone of the family. She spent most of her life taking care of others. She had a brilliant mind and remembered
everyone and everything; birthdays, anniversaries, events and so much more. If you had a questions or concerns, Auntie Mel had the answers.
Melody leaves behind her son, Bruce Gordon; three grandchildren, Chandler Gordon, Danika Gordon, and Ambriella Baggett; brothers, Jerry Currie, Monte Currie, Michael Hamby, Wade Hamby, and James Ammons; sisters, Alice Renee Hamby and Linda Ammons. As well as more family
than can be listed.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Michael Ammons; both her parents; mother and father-in-law, Thelma Ammons and Horace Floyd Ammons; sisters, Janice Cooper and Kimberly Luther; brothers, Dusty Hamby and Robert Ammons.
The Celebration of Life will be held at 6:30 PM on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 12412 FM 2854 Rd, Conroe, TX 77304. There will be a livestream link available for those unable to attend in person.
