Passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 57.
Predeceased by his father, Richard Black, Sr.; brother-in-law, AJ Saxe.
He is survived by his mother, Pamela Black; siblings, Rick (Sharon) Black & Holly Saxe; nieces & nephews, Matt (Stephanie) Black, Heather, Black, Chelsea Black (Gonzo DeJesus), Rachel Black, & Hope Saxe; many great-nieces & nephews, aunts, uncles, & cousins.
Mike was known for his unwavering work ethic and generous spirit. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, embodying kindness and compassion in every aspect of his life. Simple pleasures brought him joy-especially a good home-cooked meal, preferably with leftovers to savor later. His beloved cat, Blackie, held a special place in his heart, reflecting his deep love for animals and his nurturing nature. With a big heart and a warm smile, Mike was a true friend to all, leaving lasting impressions through his care and friendship.
Family will receive friends 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm Friday, March 7, 2025 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, where his Celebration of Life will follow at 5:00 pm.
